Indefatigable – Old Boys Association 43rd Reunion Friday and Saturday 5-6th June 2026

The IOBA organising committee is pleased to invite you to the 43rd Indefatigable Old Boys Association Reunion to be held on the 5-6th June 2026.
The Weekend activities include:
- Meet up evening at MDC Bangor university 1884 Bar – Friday 5th 19:00 onwards.
- Visit to the Old School and shore front sailing area – Saturday 5th 10:00 – 15:00
- IOBA AGM – Saturday 11:30-13:00
- Reunion Dinner at Bangor University – Saturday 18:00 (1884 bar) sit down meal from 19:00

Friday 5th June – Vibrant Shirt Night (Ladies included!)
- Venue: 1884 Bar, Bangor University from 19:00
- Exclusive use of the bar for IOBA attendees
- Charity collection in aid of TBC – nominations welcome
The University can provide freshly hand-stretched 12.5” pizzas from the Takeaway Menu (5:30pm – 9:00pm).
Attendees must arrange and pay for their own food.
FYI – Great night was had by all and we raised raised £302 for the charity last year – 2025 Nominated charity “Prostate Cancer UK”

Saturday 6th June – Reunion Day
Old School Visit & AGM
- Arrival: from 10:00 [Attendees, guests and vehicles must be registered via the booking form]
- AGM on site classroom: 12:30 – 13:30
- Access will be granted to the Old School areas and outside grounds
- The shoreline and sailing area can be visited
- IOBA merchandise will be available to purchase on the day – See Indefatigable old boys association merchandise and engravings by Rolldove studio
Important:
- We are attending an active military site and as such have rules to follow and areas that will remain restricted
- There is a no-alcohol rule on site. The bar at JSMTC is no longer available and the Commanding Officer has requested that no alcohol is brought onto the base due to families and students being present. We must respect this request.
- All guests must depart the site by: 15:00
Reunion Dinner – Bangor University
- Assemble: 18:00 in the 1884 Bar
- Dinner: 19:00
- Dress Code – Smart, dress to impress (Black Tie Optional)

🍽 Dinner Tickets
Price: £63.50 per person
Includes:
- Three-course dinner
- Two bottles of wine per table
- One £5 entry into the Indefatigable Glassware Raffle
Additional glassware raffle tickets, plus general raffle and possible auction items will be available on the night.
- Funds from glassware will be diverted to the Indefatigable Plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum fund.
- All other funds will be allocated to Sea Cadets award, Robert Griffin fund and the general upkeep of the IOBA assets.
**Please donate gifts, pledges and prizes if you can as all funds raised support the ongoing reunion and various initiatives within the IOBA.

Fundraising & Merchandise
Any Merchendise sold supports the IOBA. This will be available at the reunion and via the website

Funds raised from the Indefatigable Glassware Raffle will support the new Indefatigable Plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum.
Accommodation
Attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
The IOBA has block-booked rooms with Bangor University (details TBC).

Closing date for booking is 11th May 2026 with any unreserved rooms will be released back to the University for both Friday and Saturday nights. Any booking made after this will be at the full MDC rate.
Notes on Accessibility & Parking
- School – Please let us know of any specific access needs and we’ll work with you to make the day as enjoyable as possible
- University – We understand is fully accessible for wheelchair users
- Accommodation – Due to the building being Grade II listed, there is no lift access to third-floor bedrooms
- Free on-site parking at both venues
The IOBA may be required to amend the above programme and reserves the right to do so.
